Key Responsibilities:
- Design a wide range of low-voltage systems, including fire alarms, access control, security cameras/video surveillance, nurse call systems, and audio-visual systems.
- Work on complete designs for engineering companies, creating spec books and detailed designs for various locations.
- Collaborate closely with our operations team to ensure high-quality and accurate designs for installation and engineering purposes.
- In this role you will be consistently producing high-quality and accurate designs for both installation and engineering purposes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Ideally, 8+ years in low-voltage systems, engineering, and related fields.
- Education: An electrical engineering degree is preferred, but not required. A bachelor’s degree in fire protection would be a bonus.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have a professional engineering license (FE or PE) or a CTS-D certification. Candidates without degrees will be considered if they have relevant work experience.
- Industry Expertise: Strong preference for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in low-voltage systems, including fire alarms, access control, security cameras, nurse call systems, and audio-visual systems.
