Are you a hardworking and dedicated professional looking to make a difference? Custom Concrete is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure compliance with federal and state safety and health regulations. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Corporate Safety Director to implement best practices and company policies.
As a Safety Manager, you will collaborate with all divisions of our organization to promote safety awareness through meetings and training. You’ll provide accessible safety resources and support, identify hazards, and develop mitigation tactics. Your advanced knowledge of general construction will be crucial as you conduct audits, safety training, and ensure compliance with laws. You’ll also investigate accidents, promote near-miss reporting, and monitor legislative compliance through workplace inspections. Additionally, you’ll prepare reports on HSE matters, manage OSHA compliance efforts, and ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
We require a valid Driver’s License, a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and 7-10 years of experience in a safety position within the construction industry. Preferred qualifications include OSHA 500, 510, or 502 certifications, CHST or CSP certifications, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
