GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Staff Accountant, reporting directly to the Company Controller, is responsible for supporting the accounting finance departments through dedicated and detail oriented support. The role will be managing and overseeing various accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information in a timely manner. Pace in this role will be critical as the company is experiencing some phenomenal growth.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in similar role.
Working knowledge of GAAP
CPA certification or working towards certification a plus, but not required.
