Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP SM/ CS Consultant
This position is a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Location for this position is Austin, TX.

Preferred Qualification:
- At least 7 years of SAP experience n Service Management (SM)/Customer Service (CS)
- Advanced knowledge on - Notification, Service orders, Warranty and billing.
- Expert knowledge on Contracts -Value/Quantity/Service.
- Worked on revenue recognition.
- Hands on experience DIP profiles and Resource related billing.
- Repair order process.
- Customer service master data - Equipment master, warranty master, functional location, counters etc.
- Knowledge on Idocs - setup of partner profile, creating segments, testing idocs.
- Worked on Interfaces with both SAP and non SAP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- At least 7 years of experience in SAP projects, including experience in full-life cycle implementation projects in SAP SM/CS
- Experience with SAP enhancement technologies including user exits, BADIs, IDOCs, BAPIs
- Candidate should be able to independently execute designs and be able to provide alternatives for challenging business requirements.
- Strong process knowledge of Sales and Distribution, Repairs and Service Notifications, Warranty and Contracts.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP codes.
- Hands-on project experience of similar nature, working in multi-system integrated environment, involving technical enhancements to SAP
- Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces
- Experience with intercompany postings and pro forma invoices
- Knowledge of SAP iDocs for order induction and Integration with other SAP modules
- Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirement.
