Job Overview:
Just Courts Construction is seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager with experience in construction to oversee the end-to-end management of our pickleball court construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and budgeting for pickleball court construction projects.
- Work closely with contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Create detailed project timelines and act as liaison to keep all interested parties up to date on project milestones or changes
Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and resources as needed to avoid delays.
Site Supervision:
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure projects adhere to plans and standards
- Oversee construction teams, providing guidance, support, and problem-solving when challenges arise.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are within the allocated amount.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on project progress and expenditures.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Handle any issues that may arise during construction and promptly find resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in sports facilities or pickleball/tennis court construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- On-site supervision of construction activities, with travel (approximately 25% annually) to various project locations.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
