Our client is a large conglomerate with multiple lines of business that's growing quickly with great people and excellent resources. They're currently looking for an attorney to join the team who will focus heavily on corporate compliance, M&A/transactional matters, and regulatory issues (along with other ad hoc needs on a day to day basis).
Associate General Counsel:
- Must be willing to do some minimal travel to California as needed
- Must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working on site
- Must have detailed experience with business strategy, risk management, negotiation/settlements
- Must have experience helping to manage other in-house attorneys, and coordinating with external counsel
- Experience with M&A, purchase/sale of real estate, business formations, and all facets of corporate work is highly desired
- Must be willing to be truly hands on at all levels
- Ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable
- Salary is likely to be $200k-$225k base + bonus potential, benefits, etc
