Reports To: VP of Engineering
Shift: Days
Pay: Up to $90k annually

Specific duties and responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer Manager are as follows:
- Leads engineering team in the development, review, and improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Evaluates and identifies potential failures related to operational processes, efficiency, and quality loss and identifies solutions.
- Defines and communicates design intent and engineering tolerances that help optimally control variations in manufacturing processes.
- Creates job methods, work instructions and detail prints of fixtures and tooling.
- Assigns engineers to implement improvements, provides operator training when introducing new processes and reviews operator feedback
- Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including EPA and OSHA requirements.
- Aids in maintaining fixtures, tooling, and other equipment.
- Proposes and implements cost reduction programs.
- Establishes and maintains production floor layout to improve efficiency of operations.
- Fulfills customer engineering or suppliers engineering requests as needed.
- Completes quality system requirements as they pertain to specific job functions
We're actively seeking Manufacturing Engineer leaders with the following background profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or similar discipline
- Minimum 10 Years management experience in contract manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 / ISO13485 QMS, and FDA requirements.
- Knowledge of EPA and OSHA requirements.
- Experience with precision, low to mid volume machining and assembly equipment, tooling, fixturing, and gauging.
- Experience with PFMEA, CAPA and GD&T.
- Working knowledge in the use of MasterCam or equivalent software to program CNC equipment and model creation.
- Computer skills required: E2 MRP Systems; Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software
