The Spirit of the Position:
The Senior Parking Operations Manager in Greer, South Carolina will have overall management responsibility for the implementation and enforcement of operational, financial, personnel, accounting and maintenance procedures related to the parking operation. The Operations Manager will report to the Regional Vice President in the Southeast region.
- Overall Management: Oversee the management, operation, and maintenance of all aspects of the parking program.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to City, TSA, FAA, and local regulations and laws.
- Revenue Enhancement: Develop and implement initiatives to increase profitability.
- Profitability Oversight: Manage and approve annual budgets for revenue and expenses; ensure overall location profitability.
- Customer Service: Deliver the highest level of customer service and ensure LAZ Parking personnel comply with established policies and regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Evaluate revenue reports, review secret shopping and customer surveys, and ensure accurate financial management and reporting.
- Marketing Management: Implement and manage marketing programs to enhance revenue streams.
- Staff Management: Oversee hiring, training, and development of employees; manage day-to-day facility activities, including scheduling and payroll processing.
- Audit and Risk Assessment: Administer audits and risk assessments; ensure revenue control integrity and process consistency.
- Customer Interaction: Handle sensitive situations and customer complaints; authorize exception transactions and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
- 4 years of parking management required
- Valet and / or shuttle management also preferred
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications
Skills:
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and complex situations including difficult customers, timely response and resolution of any customer complaints
- Able to lead, direct and develop team of employees to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking’s culture as a guideline.
- Ability to identify high potential employees to support the shuttle operations.
- Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving
- Strong customer service skills and abilities

Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
