Our client is seeking a Bilingual Maintenance Technician in Garland, Texas!
Pay: $18-20
Schedule: 6am-2:30pm - Mon-Fri + Overtime as Needed
Location: Garland, TX 75040

ENGLISH AND SPANISH PROFICIENCY REQUIRED.
Position scope:
In this role, you will: be responsible for providing complete preventive maintenance and
servicing of the production equipment to ensure continuous operations. Leadership model
demonstrating core values of integrity, respect, honesty and diversity.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the sense of urgency to correct operational and safety problems
- Provide reliable operations of manufacturing equipment to ensure product meets customer demands
- Review and audit all assigned areas regularly
- Provide proper repair, improvement and preventive maintenance to ensure buildings, grounds, vehicles and equipment are in compliance with codes
- Perform electrical, maintenance and custodial tasks for buildings, grounds and equipment
- Maintain records for equipment inventory, building systems, preventive maintenance program
- Organized, capable of prioritizing to perform multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Work independently and as a team, interpersonal skills
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
- Comply with all Employment Handbook policies and procedures.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Required Skills:
- Sitting/Standing/Walking constantly 6-8 hours
- Simple grasping constantly 6-8 hours
- Lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally less than 1 hour
- Reaching at or below shoulder level occasionally 4-6 hours
- General knowledge of trouble shooting industrial machines, sewing machines, and electrical equipment
- Ability to communicate
- Experience with Preventative Maintenance
- Safety Knowledge ex: LOTO, Electrical Safety
- Bilingual (Spanish)
