Our direct client is actively seeking a QSR Director of Business Development for a full time, permanent opportunity; this role is hybrid, in Chicago, IL. The Director of Business Development will need to be a strategic leader in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry with a strong customer-centric mindset, capable of driving cross-functional collaboration, managing global sales initiatives, and continuously meeting and exceeding sales expectations.
Role:
- Develop & and execute comprehensive and effective sales strategies that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction in all markets.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Establish and manage tiered service offerings and pricing models aligned with varying client needs & expectations.
- Oversee all aspects of client support, ensuring consistent and high-quality service across all markets.
- Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals that align with revenue and growth objectives.
- Work closely with teams across product development, marketing, and customer success to enhance customer satisfaction and drive product improvements.
- Present value proposition through compelling proposals, presentations, and demos.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows to boost brand visibility and generate leads.
- Provide upper management with accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance insights.
- Collaborate with implementation and partner development teams throughout the sales lifecycle, especially in account/partner development, solutions engineering, and implementation.
Required:
- Proven success in business development within the fast-food or QSR industry, particularly in technology or SaaS solutions.
- A strong network of relationships with key industry decision-makers & executives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, able to explain complex products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expertise in identifying, pursuing, and closing complex deals with fast-food and QSR clients.
