Job Description:
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Import Export Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of ocean import operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and timely arrival of goods through ocean freight. Key duties include coordinating with international suppliers and shipping companies, handling all necessary import documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The Logistics Supervisor will also be responsible for tracking shipments, resolving any logistical issues, optimizing supply chain processes, and managing a team of logistics personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage ocean import operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Handle import documentation and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve logistical issues and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Manage and lead a team of logistics staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics, particularly in ocean import operations.
