OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in California - Clinic + Call
Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Sierra Nevada foothills, this location offers a picturesque blend of outdoor adventures, vibrant community events, and a welcoming small-town charm.
Details/Requirements:
Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
Support staff: Medical Assistants, Medical Scribes, and LVN in office
Currently one physician and 5 CNM s, looking to increase to 4 physicians
CNM s take first call, physicians only get called when it s beyond the CNM s scope. (C-section, device assisted delivery). The CNM s handle most deliveries
Clinic volume between 25-35 patients per day, one half day procedures per week shared between all physicians for Colposcopy, IUD placement, Endometrial biopsies, etc.
Shared OR block every other week
EMR Tenzing
Average delivery volume: 40/month
NICU: Level I
Thanksgiving & Christmas coverage needed 2024 & ongoing to potentially 1 week/month in 2025.
