What we do:
We are a concrete / ready mix supplier in Metro Detroit. Essentially, we have an aggregate division and 8 concrete plants. Our Aggregate team picks up and delivers materials to our concrete plants. From there, we make or "batch" concrete and then deliver it to our customers (usually at commercial job sites).
Opportunity at hand:
We are looking to add a Quality Control Lab Manager to our team! Our Lab Manager would oversee laboratory operations, as well as research projects in the Hercules Technical Center. Our Technical Team is staffed with Engineers, Scientists, and Technicians who split a work load between the plants, job sites, and lab. Our lab will facilitate the testing of raw materials prior to concrete production, proposed mixtures in their research stages, and use highly technical equipment to research innovative materials from around the world.
The Lab Manager, reporting to the Technical Services Manager, will be responsible for all operations of the laboratory, including oversight of regular day-to-day laboratory work performed by technicians and engineers. This includes putting in place policies and procedures for the lab, setting goals and expectations for the QC team, and leading the charge on research and development projects for future work.

Location: Hercules Technical Center - Warren, MI
Hours: M-F, 6:30am – 4:30pm, can be up to 60 hours / week during busy season (April – October). Saturday Shift Incentive of $50 / hour if employee works 6 or more hours on Saturday
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 / year base salary
