We are presently searching for an Architectural Designer for our Austin studio. The Architectural Designer is responsible for leading all design phases for interiors projects, establishes the vision, leads the team, and has extensive client interaction.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Produces, reviews and finalizes design deliverables for all project phases (concept through CA)
- Coordinates with team throughout and holds primary responsibility for technical design and delivery of each project Coordinates with Sub-Consultants
- Works with technical leadership to ensure coordinated and code compliant documentation at each project phase
- Ensures adherence to set budget and immediately informs PM and/or client of any potential variances to the budget
Qualifications:
- Graduate of architecture school: equivalent experience may be substituted
- 3+ years’ experience in corporate or workplace design projects preferred
- Strong Revit Skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced Revit and Enscape skills
- Extensive knowledge of design principles
- Proficient with space planning, concept development, and specification of lighting and finishes
- Strong sketching and rendering skills
- Strong architectural detailing skills
- Extensive knowledge of CD and CA phase coordination
- Extensive knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements
