Our client, a leading gas and energy utility company is hiring an Energy Assistance Specialist/Customer Service Representative to join their team in Dunbar, PA!
**This is a 6-month W2 contract to hire with benefits**
As an Energy Assistance Specialist/Customer Service Representative, you will respond to all internal and external inquiries regarding fuel funds and energy assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering all aspects of the energy assistance and fuel fund functions and to provide a contact for all administering agencies
- Process associated paperwork regarding fuel funds and energy assistance
- Approve individual energy grants, document, and track receipts
- Liaison with external administering agencies for inquiries, grant approvals & procedural issues
Desired Skills:
- Requires a high school diploma
- 1 year of experience within a Call Center environment
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and problem-solving capabilities
- Oral & Written communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service
