Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Cover Depositions
- WCAB Hearings
- Review AME/QME reports to determine strategic next steps
- Negotiating Settlements
- Case Management: Manage a caseload efficiently, including maintaining accurate records, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely progress on all matter
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and offer strategic advice throughout the legal process
Qualifications:
- Compassion for injured workers!
- Excellent communication; dependable; multi-tasker
- Master negotiator in/out of court and depositions
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active State Bar Membership in California and eligibility to practice law
This position will NOT require case law research or motion/memo writing.
Prior experience is not necessary - we are looking for the right candidate who is willing to learn and grow.
Familiarity with A1 software is a plus - but not required!
