We operate over 30 miles of natural gas pipelines and several key gathering system facilities, measuring stations, and compressors across Westmoreland, Clearfield, and Centre Counties, Pennsylvania. Position Overview
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Gathering System Technician to join our team. This full-time, onsite role is crucial for the operation and maintenance of our pipeline and compressor facilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Facility Operations: Safely manage natural gas compressors and dehydrators, including startups, shutdowns, and adjustments.
- Pipeline Maintenance: Conduct pigging, valve inspections, leak patrols, and ROW maintenance.
- Technical Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, monitor cathodic protection, and test relief valves.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure environmental compliance through inspections and maintain Operator Qualification certification.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize various tools and equipment, including skid steers, air compressors, and gas detectors.
- Documentation & Reporting: Use digital systems for monitoring, reporting, and maintaining work schedules.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience in pipeline, dehydration, and compression facilities
- High School Diploma (technical training or relevant work experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Clean driving record (motor vehicle background check required)
- Physical ability to walk over rough terrain and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
