The Manager of BI is responsible for developing and executing the company’s Business Intelligence strategy, managing a team of analytics and development professionals, and overseeing the design and implementation of BI solutions. This role combines leadership with hands-on work, transforming data into actionable insights that support business objectives.

Work Setting: Onsite/Hybrid – In office 3x per week, remote 2x
Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 | Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement BI and Development strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the BI and Development team.
- Collaborate with executives and department heads to design data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance.
- Oversee BI infrastructure and recommend updates based on industry trends.
- Promote self-service analytics and automation tools across the organization.
- Design dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decisions.
- Perform data mining and root cause analysis to optimize BI solutions.
- Assist in enhancing Data Warehouse capabilities for improved BI processes.
- Support end users in developing and using BI tools.
- Conduct quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 6+ years of IT experience, with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) or equivalent tools.
- Experience with SQL, OLAP cubes, data marts, and data visualization (Power BI preferred).
- Familiarity with data ingestion (API, JSON, MSSQL, CSV, Excel).
- Proven ability to lead complex data extraction and analytics projects.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience with data warehouse systems, UKG Pro, Workday, Salesforce, and EMR systems is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or Economics, required.
