Technical Scrum Master (Full-time)
Location: Office HQ'd San Diego, CA | On-Site or 100% Remote anywhere in the US
- Compensation: $80,000-$125,000 base + Full Benefits + Performance bonus

Our client is looking to fill the role of Senior Scrum Master.In this role, you will facilitate and manage Agile Scrum processes within our organization, ensuring effective collaboration and efficiency in delivering top-notch solutions. You will partner closely with the product development team to keep projects on track, within budget, and up to our quality standards. Additionally, you will act as a coach and mentor, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and helping the team consistently meet its goals.
Responsibilities:
- Internal Corporate and Operations Technology Management
- Work with our Operations and IT Contractor to help implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to ensure data protection and compliance.
- Lead the selection and implementation of ERP and PM tools that align with our strategic objectives.
- Assist with the integration of AI tools and algorithms for improved data analysis and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee the transition of systems to cloud services for enhanced scalability and access.
- Conduct routine technology evaluations to maintain compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Promote continuous improvement through feedback and retrospectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs and assist teams in delivering quality products/solutions on time.
- Maintain and enhance the ESG data platform to ensure it meets client needs for accuracy and reliability.
- Develop customized ESG dashboards and integrate AI-driven analytics for deeper insights.
- Redesign data collection processes to better manage and report ESG metrics.
- Provide continuous technical support and maintain high-performance standards across all client-facing technological interfaces.
- Engage with clients to develop technology solutions that meet their specific needs and preferences.
- This role reports directly to CCO and Technology Advisor, facilitating strategic alignment and operational excellence across technology projects.
- Reports to: CEO or CCO
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Scrum Master
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
- Excellent Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities, strategic and innovative thinking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and resolve challenges that may be blocking the team's progress.
- Foster continuous improvement through retrospectives and regular feedback sessions.
- Keep stakeholders informed by communicating project status, risks, and issues.
- Monitor KPIs and support teams in delivering high-quality products/solutions on schedule.
- Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile principles within the team
- Understanding of programming across multiple languages (e.g. .NET, Java, Python, HTML, etc,.) as well as the components of applications (application servers, database servers, etc.)
- Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- SAFe and Kanban certifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Monday.com.
- ESG Data Management: Familiarity with ESG data platforms and reporting standards such as GRESB, Energy Star Portfolio Manager, GRI, and TCFD.
- Project Management: Extensive experience in leading technology projects from initiation to completion, preferably within the sustainability sector.
- Data Analysis: Proficient in AI-driven analytics and capable of constructing comprehensive dashboards for ESG metrics.
- Software Implementation: Experienced in deploying software solutions tailored to ESG data management.
- Staff Development: Proven track record in facilitating staff training programs on new technologies and data handling.
- Security: Knowledgeable in data security and compliance protocols relevant to ESG data.
