Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and production management, with expertise in 5S, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles. Experience in aluminum composite panel production is not required, but a proven track record in managing and optimizing production processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Process Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
- Identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes, and improve overall production efficiency.
- Train and mentor production staff on lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Develop and enforce quality control procedures and standards throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage, coach, and develop the production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to production staff.
- Ensure proper training and development programs are in place for all production employees.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and maintain a safe working environment for all production staff.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified hazards or non-compliance issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in manufacturing and production management.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with production planning and management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production management role.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
