Our Company is hiring for a Category Manager to support our client near Alpharetta, GA. This is a great initial 6-month contract opportunity to get exposure to a large company and interface with all levels of management! The team is made up of strategic/analytical thinkers. The perfect candidate would be highly communicative, with strong negotiation skills, and is very organized.
Job responsibilities of the Category Manager:
- Perform project based tasks including strategy development, RFX Process, bid evaluation, supplier selection, pricing, contracts, and negotiations
- Work with partners and suppliers to discuss cost saving initiatives, cost avoidance, rebate enhancement
- Handle strategic sourcing
Qualifications for the Category Manager:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 4-6 years of Category Management or Procurement experience
- Supplier Relationship Management experience
- Strategic Sourcing knowledge and experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
