Walsworth is a 70+ attorney law firm, and we are growing! Our toxic tort practice group is seeking an experienced senior level attorney who is licensed and resides in California. The annual base salary for this position starts at $180,000 to $200,000, depending on years of experience (Walsworth is not a lock-step firm, and the actual salary a candidate will receive is dependent on a variety of factors). - Must be admitted to the State Bar of California and reside in California
- 8+ years of experience working on the defense of civil litigation matters, including prior experience handling the defense of toxic tort/product liability cases
- Significant experience managing cases, conducting discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial
- Proficient in taking lead on depositions and working with experts
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Experience supervising and mentoring associates on matters
- Ability to make in-person appearances on cases when needed
- Trial experience is a plus
