One of the fastest growing insurance agencies in the United States is looking fro an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join their technology team. This is a new role that has been created due to company growth.
Key areas of responsibility will be Security Systems Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, O365 and Cloud Security, Threat Analysis & Incident Response, File Storage & Virtualization Security, Security Audits and Compliance, MSP Management, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Security Policy Development and Documentation & Reporting.
Your background and attributes:
- 4+ years of experience in security engineering, with a track record of managing security MSP partners.
- Strong experience with EDR.
- Expertise in managing security systems such as firewalls, VPNs and IS/IPS.
- Knowledge of virtualization security, including VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning from a security perspective.
- Familiarity with file storage security, both cloud-based and on-prem.
- Good understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or similar would be beneficial.
