Position Description:
The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organization’s HRIS applications and modules. Key duties include system setup optimization, streamlining integrations, performing analysis and testing of functions, and interacting with users. This role also has responsibilities for reporting within HR and organization-wide and support of system integration efforts for the company.

- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Collaborates with HR staff and executive leaders to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
- Meets with users to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement programs to meet special and on-going needs of human resources information.
- Meets with users to develop, maintain, produce, and distribute standard and custom reports and queries.
- Acts as liaison with management and project staff to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming involved.
- Design and conduct training for all employee, management, and project team member to maximize understanding and use of HRIS system.
- Analyzes test runs on computer to correct coded program and input data.
- Revises existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
- Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for HR staff and executives.
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and projects.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- May recommend software or computer equipment to meet the needs of the human resources unit or the users of the human resources information.
- May enter test data into HRIS system.
- Responsible for data reporting and analysis within the HRIS systems and as requested. Some examples are headcount, turnover rates, and compliance reports.
- Responsible for system integration to payroll and benefits platforms as well as talent acquisition platforms
Qualifications for Position:
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product. Dayforce experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Project Management experience managing new implementations, and upgrades.
- Experience in change management to effectively guide the organization through system changes and ensure smooth transitions.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
- One to three years of related experience utilizing and HRIS system and functioning in a Human Resource environment required.
