One of our large aerospace clients is hiring for Propulsion Engineers (Associate, Mid Level, and Sr Level) to perform propulsion system and structure support and analysis on various commercial and defense programs. This position requires hybrid work to be performed onsite at Ridley Park, PA a minimum of 3 days a week. The statement of work will include development, integration, and qualification projects. You can expect to apply your skills in air breathing propulsion design, analysis and testing in Flight disciplines to meet our customers' requirements.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Participate in various testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance.
- Support definition and performance of certification tests for propulsion sub-systems and components.
- Assist with ground and flight test planning. Participate in conduct of ground and flight test.
- Contribute to definition of requirements for propulsion systems, auxiliary power systems and vehicle fuel and tank systems.
- Coordination and control of the functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle.
- Support development of specifications and architectural and configuration concepts for associated vehicle systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with design of propulsion sub-systems and components to meet all vehicle design and performance criteria.
- Support fielded systems to assure continued reliability and airworthiness.
- Assist with development of concepts for future propulsion systems to meet anticipated requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience within aerospace or aviation
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with structural propulsion, nacelle design, or stress engineering within the field.
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00/hr (flexible based on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, normal working hours
Hiring Method: 1 year contract, potential for extensions as well as permanent opportunities
