The Men's Global Merchandiser is responsible for supporting the execution of best-in-class product strategies that lead to the success and growth of the Theory Men's business globally. They leverage strong analytical skills, has an eye for relevant trends and demonstrates impeccable communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage all tools and working documents for global merchandising and ensuring data is up to date (buy charts, strategy decks, class sheets, order maintenance, hindsight, store feedback, BlueCherry validation, Cut & Sold Report, etc.)
- Run and manage weekly Merchandising reports (Best Seller Report, Sell Through Report, Buyers Recap, Weekly Top 10, Sale vs. FP Recap, markdowns, postmortem data, etc.)
- Lead the development, execution, and communication of seasonal assortment and investment strategy throughout the product lifecycle. Starting with concept/line plan phase through to market and final assortment buy strategy, investment recaps, visual merchandising strategy, product marketing requests, product performance analysis, store feedback, hindsight analysis, product training, etc.)
- Provide day-to-day merchandising direction needed to successfully grow designated division
- Own building out global and regional seasonal assortments strategies to present at Global Proto Review and Global Line Opening
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports; analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class
- Develop and maintain effective communication with regional accounts, design, production, fabric/trim teams, planning and additional cross-functional teams
- Responsible for creating line sheets and/or assortment grids to show future assortments
- Sample management on a day-to-day basis including key milestone meetings and in-season presentations
- Plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of retail experience required
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of retail math
- Advanced excel experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and handle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines
- Must demonstrate high level of initiative and resourcefulness, be a solution seeker and make practical decisions
- Ability to quickly learn internal systems and additional software applications
Salary: $90,000-$100,000
