Brooksource is seeking a Junior Technical Release Coordinator to join our Fortune 500 banking client in the Charlotte, NC area. The Technical Release Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of release activities for software applications. This entry-level position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the release process are executed smoothly and efficiently.
This position is ideal for recent graduates from universities or boot-camps, veterans, or individuals with up to one year of professional IT experience and a long term interest in technology.
Logistics:

- Full time (40 hours per week)
- First year salary: $62,000+

Daily you will:
- Assist in coordinating release processes for software roll-outs and updates.
- Work with development teams to understand the impact of software changes and communicate any risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Help manage release schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure that release criteria have been met before deployment.
- Facilitate communication across operational teams to ensure successful release execution.
- Participate in post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement in the release process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Bootcamp in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
Top Skills Needed:
- Excellent team player with good organizational, communicational, analytical, and logical skills.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Nice to Haves:
