The Successful Applicant
A proactive sourcing leader with a proven track record of delivering results bringing a skill set from a variety of industries. Additionally, the ideal profile should include:
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business and/or Supply Chain Management; MBA preferred.
- 7 + years' sourcing experience within a manufacturing company including effective sourcing strategy and ideally including team leadership. Manufacturing industry experience a plus - should come from an environment managing a broad mixture of categories.
- Possesses “executive presence” with a runway for future growth. Ability to own and foster relationships with senior leadership and business stakeholders. Well versed at influencing diverse individuals across multi-site operations.
- Candidates should have experience creating and implementing a corporate sourcing strategy overseeing spend across multiple categories.
- Extremely effective communication skills to drive change and improvement within the business.
- Strong supplier management experience and able to maximize value of agreements to realize cost savings for the organization
- DEMONSTRATED HISTORY OF ACHIEVEMENTS AND QUANTIFIABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS Looking for resumes showing achievements (i.e. not only cost savings, but how you got there), goal driven, metric driven (ex. reduced 3,600 supplier list by 13% by doing X, Y & Z).
