Who We Are
Gupta Evans & Ayres, PC, a growing boutique litigation firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced Associate Attorney. Located in San Diego, California, Gupta Evans & Ayres is a thriving civil litigation and bankruptcy practice, with a strong emphasis on corporate, real estate and insolvency/bankruptcy matters.
Gupta Evans & Ayres, PC is not your typical law firm. As a boutique practice, we pride ourselves on our core values of craftsmanship, ownership, trust, accountability, joy and balance. Our close-knit, supportive environment ensures that everyone—from named shareholders to paralegals—helps each other grow.
We believe in fostering mutual respect and professional development, creating a firm where collaboration and camaraderie thrive. That’s why we champion a healthy work-life balance, often trading the conference room for a bowling alley or team happy hour at one of San Diego’s many restaurants. Our social events and team outings aren’t just about having fun—they’re about building a firm where our values are lived out every day.
Your Role
At Gupta Evans & Ayres, we’re seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. We want someone who embodies the character of the firm—someone who is not just an accountable team player but a leader in their own right. Someone who can confidently own their cases from start to finish, make strategic decisions, and take initiative. Someone who takes pride in their work product, builds trust amongst the firm and its clients and, most importantly, finds joy in their work.
Here, while working closely with seasoned attorneys and contributing directly to the success of our clients, you’ll handle a variety of tasks and be involved in every aspect of litigation. Expect a workload that’s both robust and rewarding, where each day brings new and engaging challenges. You’ll find yourself deeply involved in complex cases, managing junior associates, making meaningful contributions and seeing the impact of your work on the direction of a case. All of this happens in an atmosphere that values your well-being just as much as your professional achievements. With reasonable billable hour requirements, we understand the importance of balance and strive to support our team members in maintaining a healthy, fulfilling life both inside and outside the office.
