How You Will Make a Difference
The Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for improving data quality both internally and externally and assisting the Analytics team in implementing a data-led strategy. The Data Quality Analyst will report to the Sr. Data Quality Analyst and be based in Atlanta, GA.
In This Role, You’ll Get To:
- Monitoring and reviewing data that is extracted from various sources into MountainSeed’s Analytics systems, checking for completion and accuracy.
- Data cleansing - identifying, assessing, and resolving any data quality issues.
- Developing good relationships with users across the company and interacting with them to resolve any data quality issues.
- Addressing the root cause of data inconsistencies and recommending improvements, including QC procedures, multi-source validations, and human intervention (where applicable).
- Responsible for establishing data quality metrics and requirements, including defining the values, ranges, and parameters that are acceptable for each relevant data attribute.
- Measuring and reporting to management on the progress of data quality improvement.
- Providing ad-hoc support to ensure that best practices are followed.
This opportunity is for you if you have/are:
- 3+ years of experience in data management and/or data quality, with in-depth knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures
- College degree and/or equivalent experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to review, analyze, and manage large volumes of data
- Familiarity with ETL processes and pipelines
- Outstanding attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An aptitude for analysis and client reporting
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or other JSON-based query tools would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Tableau, QuickSight, or other BI tools would be beneficial
