Position: In-house counsel

Job Role:
- Drafting and peer reviewing contracts, such as commercial real estate leases, partner contracts, sales contracts, and loan agreements with banks,
- Handling complex legal issues related to the company's operations,
- Assisting the company and outside counsel in litigation if needed,
- Preparing thorough legal documentation,
- Leading negotiations from a legal perspective to protect the company's interest,
- Drafting and filing pleadings for any ongoing legal disputes,
- Participating in legal matters related to property and real estate,
- Proficiently using Microsoft Office Suite for daily operations.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school,
- 4-10 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on contract law, real estate, litigation,
- A current, active license to practice law in Tennessee,
- Preferred licenses in Missouri and Arkansas as well,
- Strong negotiation, research, analytical, and communication skills,
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
