Sr. Network Administrator
Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Contract-to-Hire Network Administrator to oversee and maintain our critical network infrastructure. You'll utilize your expertise in Cisco technologies (ASA, Meraki, Nexus) to support a data center refresh project, optimize network performance, and ensure seamless connectivity across all locations, including mobile sites utilizing LTE/Satellite.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for the network infrastructure.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network security and connectivity using Cisco ASA and Meraki.
- Optimize network performance and scalability using Cisco Nexus switching technology.
- Assist in network refresh projects, with a focus on a data center refresh during the first 2 months.
- Analyze network performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
- Configure and maintain routing and switching protocols.
- Oversee network connectivity for all network appliances, including mobile sites.
- Monitor network infrastructure to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10 years in network administration
- Certification: CCNP (preferred)
Technical Skills:
- Cisco ASA, Meraki, and Cisco Nexus expertise
- Strong routing capabilities/knowledge of protocols : BGP, ERGIP, OSPF.
- Network optimization and troubleshooting
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to new technologies
