Pay-rate : $80-$94 an hour on W2 with limited benefits
Job description:
GFT is a Finance strategy and solutions team that partners with EG Product and Technology teams to ensure Finance involvement, review, and support for all high-priority initiatives.
The team represents Finance, Controls, Risk and Compliance teams by assessing operational Finance impacts to any new initiative, ensuring that EG systems support any changes, and provide continuous reporting accuracy and SOX compliance. GFT additionally serves to assess and manage this cross-functional work across Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Fraud, Billing, Payments, and FP&A.
GFT's mission is to enable EG to run and expand the business by supporting initiatives that generate new streams of revenue, projects resulting in cost-savings, product enhancements, and new regulatory requirements. GFT acts as the voice of Finance in these initiatives ensuring compliance and no impact to the business for any project releases
Own and Manage:
You’ll own and manage lifecycle activities from beginning to end (planning, requirements gathering, technology team partnerships, UAT planning and performance, project closing, and stakeholder engagement) for multiple projects simultaneously.
Automate:
You’ll work on automation projects and lead the coordination of designing processes and tools to make financial statement processes easier and more accurate.
Consult:
You’ll operate as a valued consultant to partner with many different fp&a stakeholder teams across Expedia Group.
Make Decisions:
You’ll be an empowered, impactful decision maker who drives the direction of a project to completion.
Please list 3-4 functional activities the resource should be capable of Successful candidates for this position will have extensive professional experience working with financial processes, project management, finance requirements documentation, process design, and user acceptance testing responsibilities.
They will have developed a passion for delivering process improvement across the finance organization.
They are expected to have a deep sense of ownership, and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities, drive positive change across the organization, and enhance partnerships between FP&A and various finance and IT groups.
In addition, successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing through ambiguity and complexity, and demonstrate an ability to support multiple, simultaneous, project launches at any one time.
Candidates are also expected to have sufficient finance experience to help the project launch team identify and incorporate the necessary financial reporting and internal control elements into the systems or tools that are developed to support new business activities.
Requirements:
Ideally candidate has at least 7 years of recent and relevant experience.
Candidate must have Finance experience including their recent role and must have PMO experience of at least 5+ year.
FP&A experience is required, and candidate must have experience within their most recent roles.
Technical Skills:
Experience with FP&A EPM systems such as Hyperion.
Experience with PMO software such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and SharePoint.
Exposure to cloud based technology such as AWS.
General Responsibilities:
Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities. Ensure implementation of policies and practices. Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions. Manage communications through media relations, social media etc. Help build positive relations within the team and external parties. Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda. Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.). Prepare paperwork and order material. Keep updated records and create reports or proposals. Support growth and program development. Level III Senior resource with considerable and extensive experience
