The Senior Production & Costing Coordinator will play a crucial role in the Production Department which prides itself on its commitment to excellence and its ability to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include overseeing the production process (i.e. costing analysis, production scheduling), data analytics, confident decision-making, and managing communication with overseas offices. Candidates should possess strong Excel skills, communication abilities, and a knack for problem-solving. The role promises exciting challenges, a collaborative atmosphere, and impactful work that directly influences product quality. This position will report to the Director of Production from our Greenwich, CT headquarters on a hybrid schedule - 3 days in office/2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Domestic and International brand production management
- Perform costing analysis while establishing & negotiating price targets to factories
- Communicate projections to agent
- Monitor production schedule to ensure timely execution
- Provide weekly sales trend analysis reporting to Sales Director/EVP
- Cost sheet entry
- Production and Sales Order Entry
- Daily distro email review is received and processed in a timely manner
- Monitor and analyze shipping lists from factories
- Provide Commitment Cost Updates
- Perform Inquiry Commitment Entry
- Manage customer service inquires as it relates to specific brand management
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Costing negotiation experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years’ experience in a Production Coordinator role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, strong sense of team spirit and responsibility
- Knowledge of Blue Cherry ERP Software or similar a plus
