Opportunity Description
We’re looking for a Creative Copywriter to join our team. In this role you will support the conceptualization, development, and execution of all consumer-facing digital content including Color Street’s website, product descriptions, email marketing, and sales collateral. We’re looking for someone who is passionate for storytelling, romanticizing descriptions, strategic thinking, and constantly seeking ways to reach our customers more effectively and impactfully.

Job Duties
- Ensure on-time, high quality delivery of all projects from end-to-end by defining messaging and copy on all digital and branding assets.
- Write product descriptions for each SKU being released - with copy that is smart, educated, engaging, fashion-savvy and strong, with an eye to trends and key selling points for each item.
- Understand SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices and incorporate that into the product names and copy.
- Brainstorm and create persuasive, clear and strategic copy for Company’s website, email marketing, and sales collateral that drives business results and can be fully integrated, online and offline.
- Confidently manage multiple projects on several campaigns at once while remaining flexible, positive and detail oriented through revisions.
- Partner with cross functional teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics while driving brand voice.
- Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to ideate new ideas and take them from rough thoughts to clear, concise, finished campaigns.
- Research our consumers and competitors to find the best way to present our products to various target markets on different platforms.
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer mindsets, attitudes, & behaviors to inform strong creative development.
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience & Skills Required
- 5+ years’ experience in content strategy, writing, and creative storytelling type roles in fashion or eCommerce
- Experience in the cosmetic or fashion industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of the Company’s voice and tone
- A digital-first mindset and in-depth understanding of the modern media landscape
