The Software Quality Practice Lead responsible for establishing software quality best practices throughout the SDLC. Expected to improve the skills of each member of the competency through active mentoring and technical as well as process leadership. Constantly evaluate and implementing new practices, tools, and technologies that improve efficiency and effectiveness of their competency.
Primary duties:
- IT Quality Process definition and implementation
- Represent QA during internal/external audits, ensuring audit-readiness at all times
- Representing the QA community on various governance committees
- Work with delivery teams to pilot new practices
- Evaluating implementation of best practices
- Facilitating knowledge transfer forums
- Participate in industry forums
- Troubleshoot when project deliverables are delayed or do not meet quality standards, providing an assessment on procedural or other changes necessary to improve consistent delivery of solutions on-time and within quality standards
- Have good knowledge on the SDLC phases of the project and have prior experience of performing peer reviews
- Collaborate with other competency Practice Leads to bring about improved cross-functional delivery patterns
Qualifications
- CSV (computer software validation) experience preferred
