The Currier Museum of Art, seeks a Manager of Corporate and Institutional Giving to join the museum as a key member of the development team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the successful candidate will have responsibility for creating and growing strong corporate sponsorships and donor opportunities to support the museum’s mission, exhibitions, and programs. The Manager of Corporate and Institutional Giving will identify, cultivate, secure and leverage new and sustainable relationships with corporate sponsors, community organizations and individual donors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of successful development/fundraising or non-profit management experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, negotiation, and communication skills; editing and proofreading skills necessary.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, trustees, volunteers, and donors.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, positive attitude, and sense of humor, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical behavior.
- Team orientation and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Highly energetic, goal-driven, and flexible, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Superior organizational skills with a high attention to detail; proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Proficiency with Advanced MS Office suite; fundraising software a plus (Altru preferred).
