Manufacturing Operations Analyst
The Manufacturing Operations Analyst is responsible for performing statistical analysis, performance measurement, and cost analysis for manufacturing operations. The role involves collecting and analyzing data to provide insights into operational efficiency, quality, and cost control. The Manufacturing Operations Analyst also provides recommendations for and leads process improvements and optimization to enhance operational performance.
Specific Responsibilities:
1.Collect and analyze data to provide insights into operational efficiency, quality, and cost control.
2.Develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions.
3.Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational performance.
4.Create and maintain reports to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing operations.
5.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives.
6.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing operations.
7.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.
8.Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel on data analysis tools and techniques.
9.Participate in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes and systems.
10.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for manufacturing operations.
11. Conduct cycle time studies and collaborate with engineering to update standard times.
Skills Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in industrial or other engineering, statistics, or a related field.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations analysis or a related field.
3. Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques such as SAS, R, or Python.
4. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
5. Understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies is a plus.
11. Knowledge in Industry 4.0 manufacturing and its implementation useful
