Director of Information Technology
Reports To: CFO
Location: Remote (travel to Orlando every 6 weeks)
Position Overview:
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT Managed Services and Infrastructure, ensuring the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the parent company and its portfolio companies' IT environments. This role encompasses management of IT systems, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance, as well as the implementation and optimization of ERP/EPM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Cyber Security & Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, integrate security into daily operations, and assist in regulatory filings concerning cybersecurity.
- Support the Internal Controls Manager in conducting SOX 404 readiness assessments and developing a roadmap to SOX 404 compliance.
- Conduct regular audits of IT systems and internal security controls.
- Develop, test, and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining the company’s technological edge.
- Provide senior management with monthly reports on network and data security, incident response, risk compliance, security vulnerabilities, disaster recovery, business continuity, and other IT-related metrics.
- Deliver annual IT security and other IT-related training to the leadership team.
IT Managed Services and Infrastructure:
- Oversee all IT Managed Services, systems, services, software, hardware, architecture, and infrastructure for the parent company and its portfolio companies.
- Serve as the primary contact for all IT-related issues.
- Establish and maintain reliable IT operations, including user access management, data backup and recovery, system uptime, software updates, production system stability, and financial system security.
- Plan and supervise the installation and maintenance of IT systems, hardware, and networks.
- Design and implement robust technical architectures aligned with business requirements, security standards, operational efficiency, and industry best practices.
- Oversee help desk support for employee issues, including password resets, login issues, laptop problems, and IT questions.
- Create and manage the IT budget, optimize resource allocation, and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Utilize third-party resources as needed, while maintaining overall responsibility for IT functions.
ERP/EPM Systems:
- Prior experience leveraging "big 4" third party partners for ERP/EPM implementations.
- Implement cloud-based Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close.
- Implement Oracle Essbase, building forecast, budget, financial reporting, accounts payable, cash management, human resources, and capital planning cubes.
- Leverage technology solutions to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Manage the company’s network of financial and accounting systems, including NetSuite, Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close, Harmony, Accounts Payable, and Essbase.
- Oversee the company’s network of production systems, including purchasing, supply chain, production, and inventory management systems.
- Manage business systems, including ADP (HR, payroll processing, training, etc.), TravelBank, and other Microsoft collaboration tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with Managed IT Services.
- Implementation experience with ERP/EPM systems.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity risk mitigation and the security of digital assets.
- Proven ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives in complex technology landscapes.
- Knowledge of IT-related regulatory, SOX, and compliance frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator, ITIL, AWS, CISM, CCNP, CISSP are a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies for software development, delivery, and change management is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
