Role Highlights:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll dive into the heart of innovation, playing a pivotal role in:
- Designing and engineering equipment to precise specifications.
- Crafting comprehensive, accurate 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
- Generating detailed assembly and fabrication drawings along with bills of material.
- Facilitating project readiness for order release from the engineering phase.
- Providing invaluable engineering and design support to our sales team as needed.
- Offering technical assistance to both our sales department and customers through various communication channels.
- Skillfully troubleshooting technical challenges, collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and internal production teams.
- Creating comprehensive equipment manuals and essential project documentation.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
Do you possess the following qualifications and attributes?
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software and a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation with an ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a keen focus on responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to convey technical concepts effectively.
- Be reliable, be willing and able to learn new things, be excited to work within a good group of engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following would be given preference:
- Experience in designing automated machinery and conveyor systems.
- Understanding of the manufacturing process and familiarity with Visual Basic and automation controls.
- Knowledge of Electrical and Pneumatic systems.
Compensation:
We value your expertise and dedication. The annual wage for this position ranges from $60,000 to $90,000, depending on your experience, skills, and abilities. Benefits include M/V/D Insurance through Cigna, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Insurance, Pet Insurance, EAP, 401k matching plan, discretionary bonuses, 3 weeks PTO + 7 paid holidays.
