Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all facets of customer service (order entry through fulfillment), logistics coordination and paperwork.
- Delivers superior customer service to external and internal customers.
- Serves as major liaison for customers with internal DyStar functions such as Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Credit, Manufacturing, etc. and external service providers such as warehouses, terminals, carriers, etc. to ensure the on-time delivery of product that meets customer requirements.
- Manages incoming phone/email/web inquiries (checks availability, specifications, pricing, transportation, etc.), orders and customer requests (certificates of analysis, MSDS, product information packets, etc.)
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of customer orders, including documenting customer requirements on each order and ensuring orders are priced correctly.
- Receives, processes, reviews and follows up on customer administrative inquires, return goods authorizations, complaints or non-conformances to improve the quality of the relationship between the customer and DyStar.
- Ensures the timely delivery of samples through the CSR sample order process.
- Directly initiates the necessary actions to resolve any roadblocks between customer requirements and DyStar’s ability to satisfy them.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service role. Chemical/Manufacturing industry a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Import/Export processes and documents a plus.
- Excellent organizational/time management skills and be capable of prioritization and multi-tasking.
- Minimum 2 years intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
