Position Title: Sr Project Manager

Position Description and Purpose
Our growth has created an opening for a Sr Project Manager on the Commercialization team. In this role, you will champion the cross-functional execution of pivotal projects, ensuring they meet set timelines, budgets and scopes. This role emphasizes the use of project management best practices to drive cross-functional collaboration. In partnership with the Director of Commercialization, the position also aims to establish a culture of excellence and efficiency within the newly formed Commercialization function. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Lead the end-to-end management of multiple commercialization projects of varying size and complexity.
•Develop and communicate robust project plans (utilizing existing templates) that are aligned to by all cross-functional stakeholders.
•Facilitate cross-functional project meetings and completion of Stage Gate documents.
•Report out on project progress, identify risks, develop “plan B” options, and escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner to keep projects on track.
•Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and meet the success criteria for both internal and external stakeholders. Raise issues proactively when constraints arise (resource, budget, etc.).
•Drive continuous improvement within the Commercialization function, leveraging insights from project retrospectives and industry best practices to optimize processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
•5+ years of project management experience, preferably within the food industry
•Technical experience preferred
•Experience successfully managing high complexity projects
•Experience in new product development and commercialization processes, preferably in the food industry
•Strong understanding of all business disciplines and how they integrate in a manufacturing environment
•Highly collaborative leadership style with the ability to lead, influence, motivate and effectively manage conflict in a cross-functional integration role
•Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional team-building skills
•Self-starter with a bias for action and results
•Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently with excellent attention to detail; composed under pressure
•Strong problem-solving aptitude
•Other duties as assigned
