We are searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to carry out engineering assignments concerned with the planning and design of mechanically functioning equipment and processes.
You will also perform drawing reviews from designers and supports engineers for medium level complexity projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./BSc) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and 2 to 5 years of experience with design, analysis, and fabrication of mechanical components/systems.
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 required. Capable of carrying out assignments concerning mechanical equipment.
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) with ability to create spreadsheets and word processing documents.
- CAD proficiency, SolidWorks preferred.
- Defense or aerospace industry experience desired.
- Experience with electrical circuits and control theory a plus.
- Hands-on test and hardware experience desired.
- Works under supervision, performs assignments of medium complexity and may assist other senior engineers.
