Role: Operations Manager (Water/Wastewater)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
As our client experiences rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join their expanding Water/Wastewater construction team. This role is perfect for current Operations Managers, or General Superintendents/Area Superintendents looking for a more strategic leadership position in the water/wastewater sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project & Operations Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple water/wastewater construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Leadership & Team Development: Manage and mentor project teams, including superintendents, engineers, and field personnel, ensuring optimal performance and cohesion.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement and refine operational processes to drive productivity, cost efficiency, and quality across all projects.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and project compliance requirements.
- Strategic Growth: Contribute to the company’s growth by identifying opportunities for process improvements, resource optimization, and business expansion.
What We’re Looking For:
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in construction operations, particularly in Water/Wastewater projects, with a background in managing complex, large-scale projects.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive operational excellence, and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of water/wastewater construction processes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing both internal teams and external client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on Water/Wastewater projects.
- Experience in a leadership role, such as Operations Manager, General Superintendent, or Area Superintendent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in construction management software and operational processes.
