We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to join our team as an AutoCAD Engineer. The AutoCAD Engineer will design commercial projects in a very faced past environment. The Engineer will calculate material costs and collaborate with all departments to make sure all projects are produced at the highest quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an AutoCAD Engineer to join our team! You will take conceptual drawings and convert them into 2D production paperwork using AutoCAD, Flexi and Enroute.
Responsibilities:
- Design commercial illuminated signs awnings to customer specifications.
- Review, identify and implement any positive changes or additions to current project design and features.
- Utilize engineering/graphic design programs: AutoCAD, Flexi Design 21, and EnRoute 7
- Become acquainted with products by utilizing the company ERP system to select and add production material to each project in order to allocate the costs to jobs.
- Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Sales Team, and Production Team to resolve any communication errors and to avoid differences in desired and actual design.
- Establish and maintain a database of typical technical data and information
Qualifications:
- Handling multiple projects and /or tasks simultaneously without letting quantity of work affect quality of work.
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques and standards.
- Excellent knowledge of drawing, mathematics, statistics, and other concepts of designing and engineering.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Achieve the desired results within the assigned time.
- Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
