Leadership Duties include:
Enhances The Buttered Biscuit’s brand reputation by accepting ownership for full house and explores opportunities to add value to guests, team members and community.
Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, and training. Coaches for growth, discipline, and quarterly reviews.
Trains each position according to The Buttered Biscuit standards. Recognizes employees daily for excellent work completed.
Communicates job expectations to team members. Schedules all shifts. Reviews specials, shift notes, housekeeping and shares with the team.
Achieves restaurant financial objectives by maintaining labor costs to goal, total food costs to goal.
Provides and coaches for quality standards including food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Solves problems and relieves anxiety of team members and guests.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations. Shares best practices.
Works with the Chef to plan the menu, estimate food costs and profits, and adjust menus. Shares cooking trends with the team for menu development.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Strategically plans and reviews restaurant financial objectives by forecasting, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
Orders supplies as needed from vendors.
Acts as point of contact for catering requests and fulfillment.
