Role Highlights:
A leading manufacturing company based in Washington is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Project Manager to lead the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O across its operations in the US and Canada. This is a key role in transitioning the company from a legacy system to D365 F&O, supporting business transformation and modernization. The project manager will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end implementation and building a skilled project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of the D365 F&O implementation, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a project team, including internal staff and external consultants, to successfully deliver the D365 F&O solution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior management, key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with the project goals.
- System Migration: Oversee the migration from the legacy system to D365 F&O, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations during the transition.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to manage them effectively.
- Budget & Resource Allocation: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the optimal use of resources throughout the project.
- Testing & Training: Coordinate testing phases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure that all users are adequately trained on the new system.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Provide post-implementation support and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams for ongoing system maintenance and improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on D365 F&O implementations or similar ERP systems.
- D365 F&O Expertise: Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including its finance, operations, and supply chain modules.
- Manufacturing Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the processes and challenges of the manufacturing industry, especially in the US and Canadian markets.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering complex IT/ERP projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and experience using tools such as MS Project or Jira.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them efficiently to keep the project on track.
- Certifications: PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certifications are a plus.
