Description
Purpose of this Job:
· This job is responsible for supporting product development in compliance with Sanden and customer requirements.
· This role will include test and facility development, sample preparation, testing, and reporting.
· Other responsibilities include support for projects.
Requirements
Principle Duties/Essential Functions:
· Execute product development by achieving accurate testing and data.
· Complete engineering task (testing / facility development) with support.
· Develop working knowledge for Sanden product, testing facility and AC systems.
· Setup test facility by installing A/C components, piping and building sample compressor for testing, including component level test.
Other Tasks/Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to internal customers.
· Support project team(s).
· Other projects as assigned by management.
· Establish test data summary with support.
· Prepare technical data for internal customers.
· Responsible for awareness and compliance with company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Contributing to the effectiveness of the EHS policies and procedures by communicating and reporting unsafe conditions and/or non-compliances.

Education:
· Graduate of tech-school for mechanical / electrical technician or has some special skill or working experience for AC system would be preferable.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Basic knowledge of current computer technology and applications such as MS Office applications.
- Good communication skills with internal customers.
- Hands on with vehicle and test equipment (Plumbing, electrical, air flow, welding, soldering).
- Ability to read and understand schematics.
Licenses or Certifications:
· EPA-608, EPA-609 are desired
Physical Demands:
- Routine lifting of 25 lb. loads (compressors) may be necessary.
- Possible exposure to high noise levels.
- Possible exposure to chemicals (oils, refrigerants, solvents).
- Exposure to environmental temperatures 30 - 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and be able to prioritize workloads.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
· PPE may be required based on specific projects.

· Primary work area is in a test lab setting.
· Other work environments include assembly plant and office environment.
