Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team! This team is hybrid in Frisco, Texas with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
Duties:
- Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collect operational data
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; provide trends and forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions
- Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitor variances; identify trends; recommend actions to management
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
- Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinate information requirements
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review publications
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 1+ year(s) relevant experience required
- Prior credit underwriting experience
- Proficient in typing
- Computer skills
- Critical thinking
- Written and verbal communication.
