Renu Therapy is a direct-to-consumer brand that manufactures/sells state-of-the-art cold water plunge tanks. This market has recently exploded in popularity due to podcast/social media exposure and general societal shifts towards proactive health habits. We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to help us scale up our product assembly/manufacturing production. You will be first and foremost a problem-solver and leader of our assembly team, reporting directly to our executive team.
This position will be On-Site in our production facility in Costa Mesa, CA and the working hours will be 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring daily/weekly/monthly production objectives and making sure they are being reach.
- Managing, motivating, and mentoring the production leadership team.
- Learning our production process inside and out, and then monitoring the training of new employees/partners.
- Work with the Production Supervisor to continually optimize our workflow and assembly speed without compromising quality/safety. This will be especially important as we launch new products.
- Developing and executing Quality Assurance processes to ensure consistent standards of product quality.
- Proactive and regularly communicate with the executive team to ensure manufacturing/production goals and expectations are aligned.
- Manage technical support team to ensure that warranty and technical customer service issues are handled in a timely manner
- Draft & Maintain SOPs for production management positions as well as all shop tech positions.
- Train and communicate with other build vendors.
- Possibly spend 1-2 weeks on locations out of state to train build vendors as needed.
- Lead and develop shop safety program(s) in cooperation with ADP Total Source.
- Attend product development meetings and assist as needed with new product development, improvement of existing products as well as any necessary testing, etc.

Technical Requirements
- Having a strong basic sense of mechanics, manufacturing, & assembly. Must be handy.
- Previous experience with basic manufacturing/assembly tools.
- ERP/MRP Experience a must. Netsuite Preferred.
- Previous manufacturing/warehouse management experience.
- Solid skills with Microsoft Office (or Google Docs) & Spreadsheets.
- Must have a driver's license with a good driving record.
Pluses
- Previous experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP system.
- Previous experience with Asana, Monday, Jira, or equivalent project management platforms.

Work Environment Notes
- Work is performed primarily in a production and warehouse environment and is subject to variations in temperature, equipment noise and dust. The noise level in the work environment can be quite high
- Exposure to chemical odors: Will be working with solvents, paints, adhesives, etc.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
